Exceeded all expectation. Hands down the best hotel( we stayed in other 4 star hotels too ) of our stay and two weeks stay it felt clean modern luxurious. Everyone from reception to restaurant staff where amazing. People spoke perfect english, but still humoured me when I tried to speak Japanese( I am learning) .Everyone was very accomodating. We arrived on our very late at night. We used self check in, which worked flawlessly, but staff still came to assist us and explain facilities, when we were done. Room and facilities: The biggest room and we had enough stay(in similar hotels) It was clean and modern and tastefully decorated Complementary water and tea, coffee. There was also an overnight Onsen with a view. Food and surroundings: There was a convenience store nearby During the day there a lots of options around too. There are markets, Restaurant and lots of food places in walking distance. But I seriously recommend the restaurand inside the Hotel . While pricey it was worse every yen we spent in it. We had the tatiest most beautiful local and seasonal produce I have seen in my life. Definitely worth it.

the location is very convenient, just a few step from kanazawa castle park, omicho market, the famous kenrokuen is just a little further away. many good cafe and restaurants surrounding the hotel, you can check with the google map, just pick anything from the map, never go wrong. kanazawa provides you quite variety of places, park, museum, old district with some nice traditional japanese row houses, sweets shop dated back to 1600 etc., so we think city walk is the best way to explore, and the location of the hotel is suitable for this activity. this is our second time staying at this hotel. we stayed in twin room which is very comfortable. the room is super clean. there is a construction site right next the the hotel, still we heard nothing. the public bath on the top floor providing a good view of a part of the castle park hill. japanese breakfast buffet is one of the best we had so far, recommend to try. highly recommended.

Great location for walking. Sited between the market and the famous garden. Also just a 20 minute walk from the station if you’re not carrying too much luggage. Room was bigger than experienced in other Japanese hotels (booked ‘moderate queen’) and there was a small table and chairs as well as the bed. Loved the setting for breakfast overlooking the garden, and the wide choice of offerings. Staff were very helpful in spite of struggling with the English language at times. For something different, if you are a crafty person, try the one-hour gold leaf workshop (see details online), and make your own souvenir to take home. It’s about a 20 min walk away and visit the gold leaf museum first.

Hotel was in an excellent position to capitalise on some of the main Kanazawa tourist spots. The hotel had warned us both prior to arriving and at check in that there was expected construction work on near by buildings, they said they had arranged an alternative room on a quieter side of the hotel if we required it at any time.whilst at no point were we disturbed this was reassuring and very proactive from the hotel and gave us peace of mind. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful, especially in arranging our luggage forwarding to our next hotel. Would recommend and stay here again.

Amazing value for money. A very lovely hotel, big room for Japan and large toilet in room. The restaurant in the hotel is a MUST VISIT. So delicious, the sukiyaki is amazing and the beef curry is one of the best I've ever had. The room was stunning and had a beautiful entry way and display art. I loved this hotel very much. The rooftop onsen is also super clean, new and love view. Location wise there is nothing much in the nearby area, there is a family mart next door. However everything can be reached by either a taxi or some of the sights are about 15 - 20 minutes walk away.
