Great location with a wonderful ambiance. The hotel has a welcoming delightful fragrance, spacious rooms with excellent amenities and facilities. Breakfast was a real treat, featuring high-quality local specialties. The breakfast staffs were also especially helpful and attentive.

Excellent location, easy walk to Omicho Market and city CBD. Staff were fabulous, very helpful, respectful and professional. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with modern bathroom and beautiful views. Hotel was very affordable. Complimentary pyjamas and bottled water provided in rooms. Superb breakfast with local produce the highlight, very fresh, generous and delicious options. Hotel had a beautiful atmosphere and was very peaceful. By far the best stay of my trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kanazawa.

Mistui Garden Hotel was a beautiful hotel in central Kanazawa. We were so happy with our stay! The location is absolutely perfect, and it is only a very short walk into the Kanazawa Castle Ruins and Kenrokuen Gardens. It is also very close to one of the bus stops for the Kanazawa Loop Bus. The Onsen looked lovely however we ran out of time to use it. We also enjoyed a drink during happy hour at the bar - drinks were only 500Yen! Rooms were stylish and comfortable, reasonable size for Japanese standards. We also used the coin laundry which was super handy. Highly recommend.

This was by far the best hotel I booked during my stay in Japan. The room was impressively spacious—a delightful surprise, as large rooms are not a common find in Japanese accommodations. The onsen offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything in the hotel was clean. The breakfast was a standout feature, providing an extensive range of options that catered to various tastes from traditional Japanese dishes. The location of the hotel was also ideal, as it was within a short walking distance of all the major attractions in Kanazawa. This allowed us to explore the city at our leisure, taking in the sights and sounds without the need for transportation. Overall, considering the quality of the accommodation and the unbeatable price, this hotel was an incredible find and truly felt like a steal!

Super close to Kenroku-en, Kanazawa Castle and Oyama Shrine. Mitsui Garden Hotels are generally a solid choice and great value for money. The onsen is quite nice to unwind in after a long day walking around. Decent sound proofing, large-ish rooms.

Location was perfect - very central and easily accessible. The hotel is in the middle of the city and most activities are within a 15min walk. The room and bathroom were on the small side, but very comfortable. The bed was good and breakfast was great, with a lot of options. Western style breakfast was a bit limited compared to the Asian style breakfast (which was amazing!).

Convenient location with terrific service. I used the public bath daily as it was so nice to look out at the view and relax after a long day of checking out Kanazawa. My reservation included the buffet breakfast and had a great variety of items. The hotel offered you to use their meal voucher at 2 other restaurants nearby if you wanted other food options.

The hotel is within walking distance of Kanazawa's major sightseeing spots including Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle etc. The room was clean and spacious. Check out was a breeze. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was pretty seamless and they were very responsive. Service standards in person were ok, with the exception being the young lady who checked me in who was warm and very helpful.

Great location for walking. Sited between the market and the famous garden. Also just a 20 minute walk from the station if you’re not carrying too much luggage. Room was bigger than experienced in other Japanese hotels (booked ‘moderate queen’) and there was a small table and chairs as well as the bed. Loved the setting for breakfast overlooking the garden, and the wide choice of offerings. Staff were very helpful in spite of struggling with the English language at times. For something different, if you are a crafty person, try the one-hour gold leaf workshop (see details online), and make your own souvenir to take home. It’s about a 20 min walk away and visit the gold leaf museum first.
